California Fence is a family-owned fence and deck company based in San Jose. Bill's mother founded it in 1991 as the family's first licensed fence contractor, and it has been California Fence ever since, building fences, gates, decks and railings for homes across Santa Clara and Santa Cruz Counties.
The craft goes back a generation further, on Bill's father's side: his grandfather was a carpenter doing the same work in the same areas, and those standards were handed down with it.
Today Bill's daughters run the business, the third generation to carry the name. We still work on one project at a time, until it is finished, and the quality of the work speaks for itself.
